Competition Terms & Conditions – Win a Summer Break 2026

1. The Promoter

The promoter is Shirecliffe Cottage, located at Anderby Creek, Lincolnshire, PE24 5XW. Website: www.shirecliffe.co.uk.

2. Eligibility

  • The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.

  • Employees of the Promoter, their immediate family members, or anyone professionally connected with the administration of the competition are not eligible to enter.

  • In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof of eligibility.

3. Entry Period and How to Enter

  • The competition will run from 13:18 on Friday 10th April 2026 to 23:59 on Thursday 30th April 2026 inclusive (the "Entry Period").

  • Entries received after this time will not be counted.

  • Only one entry per person is permitted.

  • No purchase is necessary to enter.

4. The Prize

  • The prize is a summer break at Shirecliffe Cottage, Anderby Creek, Lincolnshire.

  • The break consists of one stay from Friday to Monday (3 nights) for up to 4 people.

  • The prize is subject to availability and must be taken before the end of 2026.

  • Travel, food, and any additional expenses are not included.

  • The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.

9. Winner Selection

  • The winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries.

  • The draw will take place on 4th May 2026.

10. Winner Notification

  • The winner will be notified within 3 days of the draw via the email address provided at entry.

  • If the winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

7. Pets

  • Up to 2 dogs are permitted at the owner’s discretion and must be agreed upon in advance, in line with the cottage's usual pet policy.

8. Booking Terms

  • The winner agrees to comply with the standard booking terms and conditions as stated on the Promoter’s website, which apply to all stays.

8. Limitation of Liability

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter. Your statutory rights are not affected.

11. Publicity & Winner Details

  • By entering, you acknowledge that if you win, your name and county may be published by the Promoter to demonstrate that a valid award took place.

  • The winner may be asked to participate in reasonable publicity, but this is not a condition of winning.

12. Data Protection

  • Personal data supplied will only be used for the purposes of administering the competition and in accordance with UK data protection laws and our Privacy Policy.

13. General

  • The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition due to circumstances outside its reasonable control.

  • The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  • This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with any social media platform used for its promotion.

14. Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
